A cartoons exhibition was held at Deyuan Park in Changchun, capital of Northeast China's Jilin province on June 30, to mark the 99th anniversary of the Communist Party of China on July 1, according to local reports.

The exhibition showcased 65 works which were created by Ma Changyu, a teacher from Jilin University of Finance and Economics.

The cartoons promoted the Party's innovative theoretical knowledge and explained the knowledge in an acceptable way, according to Ma.

The exhibition will also move on to be displayed at Hongqi primary school, Jiefang primary school, Mingde primary school and other venues, according to the organizers.
