The 20th China Changchun International Agriculture and Food Fair Expo (CCIAFF) is set to open in Changchun, Northeast China's Jilin province, on Sept 6, according to local media reports.
Initiated in 2000, the government-led expo has been held 19 times and has become a key event in China's agricultural sector.
This year's session will adopt a combination of online and offline methods.
This year's CCIAFF will have 40 exhibitions and sessions in three main categories: brand exhibitions, facilities and equipment; industry demonstrations and science education as well as economic events and trade forums.
Agricultural products, latest equipment, new technology, various foods, light industrial products, and folk cultural items will be on display at the expo as well as rural revitalization achievements displays.
The offline event will be carried out in accordance with strict COVID-19 prevention and control measures along with a thorough and systematic operation plan and emergency response plan.
