The 2021 International Conference on the Cooperation and Integration of Industry, Education, Research and Application began in Changchun, Northeast China's Jilin province, on Sept 7 and s being both online and offline.

The onsite event was attended by some 360 academicians, principals, experts and scholars from universities, enterprises, and research institutes in 18 countries including Australia, Austria, Belarus, China, and Canada, while more than 1,000 representatives of teachers and students from more than 60 colleges and universities watched the livestream of the event online.

Universities in Jilin province have reached 10 signing agreements with universities and scientific research institutes in countries including Russia, Ukraine, and South Korea, and unveiled six joint research centers, international joint laboratories, and collaborative innovation public platforms.

In addition, the Jilin Province Higher Education Global Cooperation Co-construction and Sharing Mechanism was launched during the event.
