Conference held in Jilin plots path for new e-commerce development

The first China New E-Commerce Conference (CNECC) began in Changchun, Northeast China's Jilin province, on Oct 9, attended by some 500 heads of internet companies, experts and scholars in the field of e-commerce, and domestic live streaming hosts.
The conference, with a focus on "New Economy, New Business Models and New Development", includes an opening ceremony as well as five sub-forums focusing on the integrity construction of new e-commerce, the innovative development of "internet + rural revitalization", and the high-quality development of cross-border e-commerce.

During the conference, 20 new e-commerce platform companies jointly issued the Proposal for the Healthy Development of China's New E-commerce Industry.
According to the proposal, new e-commerce platform companies should serve the development of the country and work toward common prosperity, as well as operate with integrity, abide by the law, and build a network ecosystem together.
The proposal also stated that it is necessary to improve service quality, innovate service models, strive to provide more high-quality products, and guide consumers to consume rationally.
The new e-commerce platform companies should strengthen innovation and industry self-discipline and accept social supervision.
