The 2021 China-Germany Automobile Conference is set to open on Oct 19 in Changchun, capital of Northeast China's Jilin province, during which the macro trends and cooperation opportunities in the global auto industry will be discussed.

The conference will have one main forum, two sub-forums, and 10 special events, and focus on topics such as technological innovation, cross-border development, investment, market, law, talent, and finance.

The conference is expected to further expand business between China and Germany's auto industries, as well as give a boost to Changchun International Auto City, Jilin's development and revitalization.

The conference was launched in 2017 by the Investment Promotion Agency of the Ministry of Commerce and influential auto industry clusters, business associations and institutions in the two countries.

The event has increased industry cooperation between China and Germany and led to agreements being signed for many projects.
