Jilin signs 15 trade contracts at CIIE worth 6.7b yuan

Northeast China's Jilin province signed 15 trade contracts at the ongoing China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai, worth a total of 6.7 billion yuan ($1.05 billion), according to local media reports.

Among them, 12 import projects focus on high-quality frozen beef imports, soybean imports and other fields. The three export projects focus on fields such as nickel sulfate production line equipment and textiles. One major trade cooperation project involves the construction of the Hongqiao Pinhui Changchun Branch Center.

FAW-Volkswagen Automotive Co and Volkswagen Group (China) signed a memorandum of cooperation during the event.

According to the memorandum of cooperation, in 2022, FAW-Volkswagen will purchase imported CKD parts and imported complete Audi vehicles from Volkswagen Group and Audi Motor Co, promoting automobile trade between China and Germany.

A delegation consisting of 1,478 enterprises from Jilin province is showcasing its latest breakthroughs in automobile manufacturing, agricultural products processing, ice and snow tourism, and rail transit at the Jilin booth set up at CIIE.
