Changchun immigration inspection station has comprehensively improved the inspection efficiency of international cargo flights and maintained a safe, fast and efficient entry-exit customs clearance environment, while also strengthening COVID-19 prevention and control, according to local media reports.
On Sept 30, 2021, Air China opened the Changchun-Frankfurt freight route and simultaneously went through the border inspection procedures for this international cargo route. Changchun Longjia International Airport, the cargo hub of Jilin province, has gradually resumed normal operations.

In order to effectively cope with challenges such as long transit delays, rapid take-off and landing time, and long centralized isolation periods, Changchun immigration inspection station has included the services for the new route into its annual work plan, reformed its service model, adjusted inspection methods, and implemented convenient policies.
To date, a total of 32 inbound and outbound cargo aircraft have been guaranteed to receive the services, including eight night flights and more than 230 crew members.

In order to ensure the timely import and export of cargo planes, on the basis of setting up a special inspection channel, the inspection station has assigned six police officers with crew inspection experience to form a dedicated team to inspect the entering and exiting cargo planes.
A sufficient police force has guaranteed uninterrupted customs clearance for cargo planes and crew members 24 hours a day.
