Farmer Qi Shuang, from Jiaohe city – located in Northeast China's Jilin province – has been a creative photographer for more than 30 years, vividly capturing the life stories of fellow farmers, as well as the changes and developments taking place in his hometown.

He has held two solo photography exhibitions in 1996 and 2013, while his photography works have won awards in various competitions.

As a farmer photographer, Qi, like other colleagues who share his passion, has faithfully used the lenses to record the changes in his area, show the beauty of the countryside and tell his own story of rural regeneration and revitalization.
