The venue for the ongoing Vasaloppet China Changchun Jingyuetan International Ski Festival, the Jingyuetan scenic area in Jilin province, is making every effort to offer high-quality winter ice and snow tourism products and create a fascinating, energetic and mysterious cultural atmosphere for visitors from China and abroad.

Jingyuetan will continue to consolidate its ice and snow tourism brand, putting emphasis on "one field, two ski resorts, a slide recreation area in the main entrance and a Winter Olympics experience area as well as ice and snow products".

With the theme of Helping the Winter Olympics and Enjoying Jingyue, this year's ice and snow products integrate "snow sculpture viewing, interactive entertainment, outdoor fitness activities and popular science research" to create a "solidified art, pure paradise" providing visitors with immersive experiences. The whole exhibition area covers nearly 300,000 square meters and uses 40,000 cubic meters of snow and 2,000 cu m of ice.

The slide recreation area in the main entrance covers an area of 206,300 sq m, mainly for enjoying ice and snow, large slides, and small entertainment features. It is a paradise for children with large snow and ice slides, space cartoons and exciting castles. The Winter Olympic Experience Zone covers an area of 67,900 sq m and includes the opening ceremony of the ski festival and professional competitions.

It focuses on Winter Olympics popular science, cross-country skiing, viewing experiences, participation and interaction.

The ski resort Professional Ski Sports Ground is mainly based on professional skiing experience, traditional ice projects and regional characteristics management, covering ice and snow sledges, bikes and bumper cars.

The Jingyuetan scenic area will also hold the Jingyuetan Vasa Book and Brush Fair, Jingyue Winter Oil Painting Exhibition, and the fourth Cross-Straits Sister Lake Cooperation Year as well as a variety of activities such as ice dragon boat races and fishing competitions.
