Giant pumpkins are on display at the 21st China Changchun International Agriculture and Food Fair Expo (or CCIAFF) on Aug 18. The giant pumpkins are the largest and heaviest pumpkins ever exhibited at the CCIAFF. These giant pumpkin varieties were introduced from abroad more than 10 years ago, and the largest single product at that time weighed nearly 400 kilograms. [Photo provided to gojilin.gov.cn]

Giant watermelons weighing 95.2 kilograms are attracting a lot of attention at the agricultural expo. A total of 13 watermelon varieties were planted and displayed in the watermelon exhibition area. The watermelons grow to more than 100 kilograms through special cultivation methods and technical measures, and the sugar content has been greatly improved while the taste is refreshing.
