Northeast China's Jilin province has sent a delegation of more than 220 of its enterprises to take part in the China International Fair for Trade in Services, or CIFTIS – currently underway in the national capital, Beijing – displaying their latest sci-tech products, according to local media reports.
The event, which opened on Aug 31 and runs to Sept 5, has six sections: one for a global service trade summit and others for exhibitions, forums and meetings, promotions and negotiations, results releases and support activities.

During the fair, Jilin focused on the three key areas of exhibition displays, negotiations and procurements, and exhibitions and participation.
The province's stand highlighted select products and services in six major fields – service-oriented manufacturing, digital services, artificial intelligence, detection and analysis, creative animation and traditional Chinese medicine services.
Cutting-edge products developed by China FAW Group, CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles Co and Changguang Satellite Technology Co were in the limelight during the event.
Co-hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and the Beijing Municipal Government, CIFTIS is the world's first national, international and comprehensive service trade fair.
It is widely seen as an important window for China's service industry to open to the outside world. As such, it has played an active role in spreading ideas, connecting supply and demand, sharing business opportunities and promoting development in the international service trade.
