Jilin provincial CPPCC opens on Jan 14

The first session of the 13th Jilin Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, or CPPCC, opened on Jan 14 in Changchun – capital city of Northeast China's Jilin province with the attendance of 471 CPPCC members, according to local media reports.
On behalf of the Standing Committee of the 12th Jilin Provincial CPPCC, Jiang Zelin presented a work report to the conference, reviewing the committee's achievements in the past five years and its plans for the future.
The report summarized the main findings of the CPPCC in five areas and called for renewed efforts to be made in the all-round revitalization of Jilin province.
