To further develop its auto sector, Jilin will continue to increase investment in technology research and development. What's more, it will also encourage enterprises to carry out innovative and supporting collaboration with colleges and universities, scientific research institutes, as well as key enterprises in the province.
Furthermore, the province will focus on building a complete "new energy + intelligent network connection" automobile industry production and supply chain.
Jilin will throw its weight behind China FAW Group's bid to build a world-class enterprise and assist Changchun in building a world-class automobile city, and will accelerate the construction of major projects, such as joint venture Audi FAW New Energy Vehicle Co, as well as the BYD power battery venture and the FAW-CRRC joint venture electric drive system.
It plans to introduce more support projects and provide strong backup for the development of industrial clusters.
