On April 7, a cultural delegation representing Northeast China's Jilin province brought the vibrance of Northeast China to Budapest with the "Colorful Seasons, Splendid Jilin" Culture and Tourism Promotion Exchange. Hosted in the Hungarian capital, the event drew the attention of government officials, tourism professionals, and the media.
Cao Lubao, head of the delegation, was joined by Han Dongsheng, counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Hungary, and Kálmán Kábor, director of the Asian Market Division at the Hungarian National Tourism Agency, all of whom addressed the audience and expressed enthusiasm for deeper bilateral engagement.

Through vivid tourism presentations, traditional performances, and the promotional film Discover the Colorful Jilin, Hungarian attendees were introduced to the province's breathtaking landscapes – from the towering Changbai Mountains and its legendary Tianchi Lake to the tranquil beauty of its forests, wetlands, and cultural heritage.
Delegates met with former Hungarian Prime Minister Péter Medgyessy to discuss cooperation in culture, tourism, and publishing. They also visited the Budapest China Cultural Center and the Hungarian National Tourism Agency, exchanging views on deepening cultural ties and practical tourism collaboration.
Hungarian partners were invited to major cultural events in Jilin, such as the Northeast Asia Expo, Changchun Film Festival, and Jilin Snow Expo.

Jishi Media and Hungary's Asia-Europe Economic, Cultural, and Tourism Development Center agreed to build a digital services platform that will support cross-border collaboration in data, cloud computing, and digital marketing. Changchun Film Group partnered with Hungary's Image Asia Co to produce films and expand market reach.
Jilin's Tourism Association also signed a cooperation agreement with the Hungarian Travel Agency Association to promote shared resources, market access, and deeper people-to-people exchange.
