The 2nd Northeast China Book Fair is now open in Changchun, capital of Northeast China's Jilin province, from May 15 to 19. Fifty percent larger than last year, with nearly 30,000 square meters of exhibition space, it features four themed pavilions and 12 curated zones, offering a diverse range of attractions, from rare books and art to cultural experiences.

The national publishing pavilion gathers top publishers, including those from Tsinghua and Peking University, debuting over 25 multilingual titles from 10+ ethnic minority publishers.

The "Fragrance of Books" pavilion showcases nearly a thousand vintage books and manuscripts, including rare Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) and Republic-era items. The cultural heritage pavilion hosts the China-Russia Changbai Mountain Oil Painting Exhibition, featuring 87 works created by artists from both countries.

A highlight is the intricate Songhua stone carving display, with hand-carved replicas of imperial inkstones.

Beyond the exhibits, the fair offers literary celebrations, art shows, book launches, and appearances by renowned writers. Visitors also enjoy book discounts, free shipping, and bonus perks like reduced-price scenic tickets and film vouchers.
