A water tourism route was launched at the Songhua River Eco-tourism Scenic Area in Baishan city, in Northeast China's Jilin province, on Sept 21, according to Baishan Release.

The water travel route starts from Yingshanhong Square in Jingyu county, Baishan city, stops at the Renyi Wharf Service Area and returns to Yingshanhong Square. The first phase of the open route is an 18-kilometer round-trip and the sailing time is about 80 minutes.

The scenic spot has a daily carrying capacity of 3,000 people, equipped with 14 large, medium and small operating boats and 18 experience vessels – such as bamboo rafts – which can accommodate nearly 700 people sightseeing by boat at the same time.
