The Dongfeng town literary and art circle federation was unveiled in the Nanzhan community of Fulu sub-district in Dongfeng county, which is located in the city of Liaoyuan in Northeast China's Jilin province, on Nov 17.

With the aim of promoting rural revitalization, it is one of the first township literary federations in Jilin province and the first in Liaoyuan city and Dongfeng county.

Officials from the Jilin Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the municipal government and the county government attended the ceremony.

Zhao Zhiqiang, vice-chairman of the Jilin Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles, addressed the ceremony, expressing hope that in three years, the township literary federations would from a group of rural art teams, create a number of well-known rural artworks, develop a number of famous rural cultural business cards, support a number of practical rural industry projects, and select a number of exemplary rural civilization projects.

Following the ceremony, the provincial and municipal officials enjoyed a performance and visited the Dongfeng farmer painting museum, Jinsheng village in Dongfeng town, and the cultural station of Daxing town to survey the development of the farmers' painting industry and the construction of grassroots cultural promotion points.
