The Jingxin Wetland in Hunchun, Yanbian Korean autonomous prefecture, Northeast China's Jilin province, is seeing an increase in migratory birds, including wild geese, according to local media reports.
Photographers recently filmed a flock of migratory birds in the wetland area, which provides the birds with abundant food and a suitable environment.
With an area of around 8,000 hectares, Jingxin is a key wetland in Jilin and is the first stop in China for birds migrating south from Siberia.
They usually start flying around the beginning of October and leave in mid-December, according to experts.
According to observations, the number of wild geese arriving at the Jingxin Wetland has exceeded 100,000.
