Beijing 2022 Olympic torch display comes to Yanbian

The Olympic torch for the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games goes on display in the Yanbian Korean autonomous prefecture, in Northeast China's Jilin province, on Jan 17. The Beijing 2022 Winter Games is due to take place in and around the national capital next month. The torch for Beijing 2022 – bearing the name 'Flying' – is colored in silver and red. Yanbian boasts ideal powder snow in abundance. To date, one ice skating hall and four artificial ice rinks have been built in the prefecture and more than 50,000 people participate in winter sports there annually.
